BBC在关于奥斯卡的特别报道中，介绍了27岁的章子怡的从影过程，及她从完全不会说英语，到以英语发音的《艺伎回忆录》，其敬业努力的态度值得肯定。章子怡靠着《艺伎回忆录》目前已在美国电影演员公会、金球奖等入围最佳女主角。
报道引述章子怡接受美国《底特律自由新闻报》专访时说，“大家都告诉我，子怡你真幸运，这么年轻就和那么多知名的导演合作，
我知道这都是事实，不过有时候我在想，这些大导演选择和我合作，可能也是因为我能做到他们所喜欢的表演”。

I checked. It wasn't utf8.

So, the DB took it correctly on the first post but the form field mangled it after it had been parsed. Don't think there's an easy way around that either…

And, in fact, the editor doesn't garble it now that it's coming from the DB. Maybe there were strange characters trapped in the cut and paste?
