Yeah, the utf8 is broken w/i the template which is unaware it's parsing chars that are more than one byte wide. Sigh.

Shouldn't have data logic in the templates anyway so I'll move it to the module and it should be fine.

Actually, that's wrong. I just realized the literal ellipsis I'm setting for the truncated subject line is the problem. chr(8230) I think. It's not flagged as utf8. That's the problem. Maybe.
