This is an alpha software package. It may not work. It may lose your data. It may change fundamental behavior in every release. It may destroy your server. It may cause shingles, burn down your house, encourage children to smoke, and kick your dog. If you don’t have at least a fair grasp of the command line interface, relational databases, XHTML, and web protocols, you should stay away for now.
Ego is released under the Artistic License 2.0.
Ego is web journal—AKA blog—software written in Perl. It’s built with the Catalyst Framework, the Template Toolkit, and Class::DBI.
Ego is pre-alpha software—and this version is a developer release—v0.01_41. That means it’s for the daring and technically inclined. It’s not fully functional and it may include many bugs, even dangerous ones.
